Changes to Workers’ Comp Quote Proposal
You’ll continue to create the quote proposal in ICON and you may notice some differences in the process and output. For example:
•
The new template is completed in sections and prefills user name, phone and email address
•
The “How to Pay Your Premium” section provides a comparison of The Hartford’s payroll billing and direct billing options
•
The option to create an editable PDF or include a blank customizable page at the end of the proposal is no longer available
•
The Billing Information screens during Issuance have been consolidated and one question was added providing guidance in selecting a billing method
Since the new template is currently only available for monoline workers’ comp quote proposals, it cannot be used to create account proposals. The traditional quote proposal template is still available for account proposals. Over time, we will incorporate the new look and feel into the proposals for our other lines of business and more broadly into other customer-facing policy documents.

Stay tuned for powerful new enhancements that will make it easier for you to deliver the protection your customers need and the service experience they expect.
